Sweet Pair Bakery & Cafe —Catering Service Contract
1. Parties
This Catering Service Contract (“Agreement”) is entered into between Sweet Pair Bakery & Cafe (“Sweet Pair”) and the Client (“Client”). By submitting this form, paying the required deposit, and emailing the required documents, the Client agrees to all terms herein.
2. Required Documentation
Client must submit BOTH required forms to Sweet Pair for the Agreement to proceed:

Sweet Pair will not begin cost calculation, planning, or service preparation until both forms are received. Failure to submit forms may result in delays or cancellation of service.
3. Deposit Requirements
Sweet Pair uses a tiered deposit system based on event size, menu selection, and service level. Deposit tiers and pricing are displayed on the website and may change at any time.
All deposits are strictly non‑refundable. A deposit is required to secure the event date. No date is guaranteed until the deposit is paid.
Deposits cover administrative scheduling, ingredient procurement, labor allocation, and event coordination. Deposits are non‑transferable and cannot be applied to future events.
4. Final Invoice & Payment Terms
After Sweet Pair receives BOTH required forms, the Client will receive a Final Catering Invoice within 24–48 hours.
Final payment is due 7 days prior to the event date. Sweet Pair will not begin food preparation, staffing, delivery, or service until the full balance is paid.
Late payment may result in cancellation of services without refund of deposit.
5. Menu, Guest Count, and Service Changes
Changes to menu selections, guest count, or service style must be submitted in writing to sweetpairbakery@gmail.com.
Changes are permitted up to 10 days before the event. After this deadline, Sweet Pair is not obligated to accept changes due to ingredient ordering and staffing commitments.
6. Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to sweetpairbakery@gmail.com.
Cancellation terms:
Deposits are non‑refundable under all circumstances.
If cancellation occurs within 7 days of the event, Client is responsible for 50% of the remaining balance.
If cancellation occurs within 72 hours of the event, Client is responsible for 100% of the remaining balance.
Sweet Pair reserves the right to cancel services for non‑payment, incomplete forms, or violation of contract terms.
7. Delivery, Setup, and Venue Access
Client must provide accurate delivery information and ensure Sweet Pair has access to the venue at the agreed‑upon time.
Client is responsible for providing tables, linens, or equipment unless otherwise arranged in writing.
Sweet Pair is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, lack of access, or third‑party interference.
8. Food Safety, Allergies, and Liability
Sweet Pair adheres to ServSafe standards and Utah food safety regulations.
Client must disclose all allergies in writing. Sweet Pair is not liable for allergic reactions if allergies were not disclosed.
Sweet Pair is not responsible for:
Food left out beyond safe serving times
Food handled by guests or third‑party staff
Damages caused by improper storage after delivery
Client agrees to indemnify Sweet Pair against claims arising from guest mishandling of food.
9. Force Majeure
Sweet Pair is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: severe weather, accidents, illness, supply shortages, venue closures, or emergencies.
In such cases, Sweet Pair may reschedule or modify services at its discretion. Deposits remain non‑refundable.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between Sweet Pair and the Client. No verbal agreements or informal communications override these terms.
By paying the deposit and submitting required forms, the Client acknowledges and agrees to all terms herein.
Final Agreement & Signature Page
By signing below, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to all terms outlined in this Sweet Pair Bakery Cake Contract.
This agreement ensures clarity, quality, and a smooth experience for both parties.All policies regarding payments, cancellations, design approvals, delivery, pickup, liability, and food safety are binding once the contract is signed.
